SquibCo Academy offers classes to new and existing equipment owners in our Norcross, Georgia training facility. The instructor for the three day course is a professional cleaner with 25+ years of cleaning and an expert on the use of cleaning equipment.
Attendees have personal, hands-on training and learn the latest techniques for cleaning all types of window treatments. These techniques are acknowledged by Hunter Douglas, the leading manufacturer of window coverings, as the most effective means of cleaning their window treatments right where they hang without shrinkage or damage. This includes the use of a proprietary cleaning head developed specifically for Luminette® Privacy Sheers manufactured by Hunter Douglas.
Training includes techniques in cleaning Duette® honeycomb shades and Silhouette® window shadings by Hunter Douglas, fabric verticals, pinch pleats, sheers, valances, cornices, balloons, swags, jabots, and roman shades. In addition, participants learn tips and tricks for cleaning upholstery, lamp shades and oriental rugs, as well as the application of fabric protectants on various fabrics.
Participants learn how to use a spotting tool and solution to effectively remove spots and stains from all fabrics. The course concludes with a session that provides comprehensive marketing information that you can use immediately and begin marketing your new cleaning services. Upon completion of the three day course, a certification is awarded to all graduates. Those who have a certification through the IICRC will obtain 2 CE credits.
